Well I think it's worth it....
What caught me was when the girl died when she tried to rescue you.
Overall this sounds very epic!! And it took me 32 minutes to read all this.
Well I hope you remember that she didn't die, if you read the end. She risk her life for you, beacuse her father died and you did the same for all what you have done when you joined the military. But you unexpectedly find your dad alive and later you see him die for sure just like Angela did.
I think with this point I made a double twist plot with a mixture of irony and coincidence.
